Software Developer

The role requires a Master’s degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering (any field) and proficiency in Java, Python, Scala, and microservices. Candidates must have experience designing and maintaining data management systems, developing and scheduling ETL pipelines using Azure, and creating application infrastructure with Terraform. Expertise in Snowflake database administration and strong skills in troubleshooting and optimizing programs for performance are essential. Flexibility to work in Sterling, Virginia, and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. is also required.

In this role, you will design, develop, and analyze software applications using Java, Python, Scala, and microservices. You will be responsible for building and maintaining data management systems and developing ETL pipelines that align with architectural standards while managing their schedules using Azure. You will create application infrastructure with Terraform scripts, handle database administration tasks in Snowflake, and ensure optimal performance. Additionally, you will troubleshoot, debug, and modify programs to enhance their efficiency and reliability.
