Gather and analyze business and technical requirements. Develop and deliver Business Requirement Documents (BRD), and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) to articulate project specifications and expectations. Create Use Case Diagrams and Object Model Diagrams using MS Visio and MS Office. Develop SQL queries with multi-table joins, group functions and subqueries for data analysis. Conduct mapping and GAP analysis. Develop and implement test plans and test scripts. Generate Crystal Reports to present data insights and analytics. Master’s degree in the Science, Technology, or Engineering (any) is required. Work location: Sterling, VA and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Requirement
- Excellent communication, professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in the role of Business Analyst. Knowledge of and experience in software development is highly desired. Applicants should also have proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience gathering complex business requirements, mapping out technical solutions, and helping manage to defined timelines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project as well as the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), utilizing portions from both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent organizational skills and proven analytical, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in the learning and growing in knowledge and skillset related to the software development process and business analysis.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and tight timelines using analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of nutritional programs, nutrient analysis, financial systems, educational systems is a plus.
- Minimum educational requirement of a four-year bachelor degree program. Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or the equivalent.
- Must be willing to travel/relocate to anywhere in the US.
